Written by

According to the visuals, the full commercial name of the newcomer is G Pad III 8.0 FHD . You guessed it, this is an 8 inch slate. As for the definition of the slab, it is 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, which gives us a resolution of 283 dpi. We do not know which chip is responsible for animating Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), but we know that it is a SoC with 8 cores with a 1.5 GHz announced rate. We guess, moreover, that the model is relatively recent: it is compatible with 4G, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and, of course, GPS. What about RAM? Again, no data. But the internal memory, it displays a capacity of 16 GB – with microSD port.

On the back of the machine, there is a modest 5 Mpx camera, while on the edge, the Korean persists and signs with the full-size USB port appeared on the G Pad II 8.0 . Not surprisingly, the tablet does not beat records of finesse. On the whole, it shows a generous amount of 210.7 x 124.1 x 7.9 mm. On the scale, it does however with the honors, since despite a battery of 4,800 mAh, it reaches only 309 grams.

The best surprise, finally, is probably at the price level. Without a contract, the G Pad III 8.0 is priced at 240 Canadian dollars, or 165 euros. It remains to be seen whether the conversion will be faithful to exchange rates when the time comes to cross the Atlantic …
